View Full Version : AGV Helmets?...
I just saw the AGV Stealth helmet and I think they look pretty sweet. Anybody have any experience with these helmets? How do they fit? Are they noisey? Anyone know who in town might carry them?
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan

I recently read an article online/in a magazine, I can't remember where it was now, stating the AGV helmets run MUCH smaller than the other brands so order larger than you need. To me that translates into find a place that has them to try on before you order your first AGV.
Supposedly people with hugemongous melons like myself need not apply. :/:

they do run small.
Are they decent helmets, though? I can't seem to find much information on them.

I've read reviews about them and they are excellent helmets - a bit pricey, just like Arai and Shoei. I haven't found one yet in Houston to try on myself. A few boardmembers here do have them, I know. PM Blackwidow.

Just picked up an RX-7 Corsair to go along with my X-11. I might buy a Suomy pretty soon as well, but my Shoei and Arai are both top notch. :thumb:

I placed an order for the XR-2 a few days ago. It arrives this Monday. Pretty good price too on www.kneedraggers.com and free shipping. All together i bought the helmet and smoked visor for $395 shipped. There is someone on here who has two of these helmets and said they were real good. Dot/Snell is good enough for me.
Oh yea, forgot to mention, I'll post up my reviews on the helmet when I get it.

Ok got my AGV XR2 in and im very please with it. I got a med and it fits very well all around, no movement. The straps are comfortable under the chin. Havent taken it out on the bike so i dont know the noise levels yet. Mine came with the AGV helmet bag and race peel off screens for track days. Also ordered the 80% tint smoked screen. Overall, a very good buy from kneedraggers.com Was going to go with the Stealth but the XR-2 was both Dot and Snell approved.
