ok so i'm supposed to wait till tuesday but you guys know how tempting it is to have ur bike just sitting in ur garage...i need to get it started!!

what happenned was that the bike over tilted and i think the tilt sensor is now keepin off. well, i figure that much because when i try to turn on the ignition it makes a popping crackling noice. the lights come on so i know its not the battery. i have gas in it so its not that. its almost like you could hear the electricity making contanct...i'm refering to that noice again....if anyone has had this happen to them and happens to know exactly what i'm talkin about...pleeeeaaaasssseeeeee let me know cuz i wanna get back on it and riideeee!!!!!

Almost sounds like you have a loose battery connection. Check the cables at the battery, also if you have a meter check your voltage.

well i did check the battery....its connected fine...i'll have to check the voltage i guess.....the sound seems to come from the further back than the battery though, more towards the side..

The noise could be the starter relay clickin gin and out if the battery is low or if the relay is shorted, you could also have loose / corroded cables at the relay.

i was there when his bike stopped workinh....it was only 3 days old when it wouldnt start so i dont think it could have corroded cables....i really do think thats its the battery cause it just sounded like it wanted to die a few starts before it stopped working altogehter

If it's an '05 it should be in warranty, take it back to the dealer.
Even though it's new it may have a faulty battery or an assembly issue.
