I don't put too much faith in the MotoGp brand leather products. I've seen them come apart too easy. IMHO I'd spend a few more dollars for a better product.

+1... I've seen 2 or 3 suits split at the seams at the track after simple lowsides. :eek3:
Fieldsheer all the way for me... 2 highspeed lowsides at TWS and 2 TMGP lowsides and I've only had to have one small section (about 2 inches) restitched.

Can't say much for the MotoGP, but my cheap EXL held up fine to a 50 mph slide down asphalt. Tore at the elbow but it is easily repairable and doesn't affect anything.

The cost really isn't a factor, the quality is. If I recieved a MotoGP jacket for free I wouldn't wear it. I really have no experience with EXL, but it seems your's is working good for you:thumb:

Yeah, can't really say "I crashed and it worked, so therefore it's good quality".
Each crash is different and it takes several to see a trend. MotoGP started out as a fairly high priced, supposedly top shelf brand. But the word has gotten around that they aren't all that great and the price has come waay down since a couple years ago.
As far as Motorcycle Closeouts.com... They do have a lot of good deals there although some of it is like last years models. I ordered some boots from them and they were as advertised and came on time, so I would say they are a pretty good out fit.

yea, I'm not knocking the seller at all, but I'd bet $$ Patrick can get the same deal. All of these dealers order from the same supply houses.

I'm 5' 10" about 155lbs.....I ordered a medium.....says 30 day return policy so I'll exchange it if it doesn't fit.

FWIW guys, I can get the same jacket for the same price.
However, I'm not a big fan of the Moto GP stuff, it doesn't hold up well, but if you want it, I can get it.
I've got some Alpinestars and Fieldsheer jackets in stock you can have NOW and they're not much more and are a much better quality.

Let me know if you want to try it on........I can get it on, its just too snug kinda all over. I'll sell it to you for $150. It'll save me from having to ship it back and wait for a refund and it'll save you paying shipping to get one.
I went to HOH and tried on the large (they didn't have a medium) and the large was just about right.......
