You can perforate your leathers your self, have fun and save money. I had a leather coat that only had a few cloth panels and no perforation in the leather pieces. They were hot hot hot in the summer. I went to Tandy leather and got a leather punch. I picked 5/64" for the size but you can use any size you like. I slit a 1" slot in the liner behind the foam back protector so you do not see it. I slid a wooden paint stir stick in between the liner and the leather, that way I would not punch a hole in the liner. I could move the stir stick around inside the coat to back up the area I was cutting holes in. I put the red handle on the leather punch as I found if you hit the punch with a hammer it kind of tore a hole so with the handle on it I could twist it by hand and cut a perfect hole. I got a manila folder and drew out my design. Cut holes in the manila folder and then positioned it over the leather panel I wanted to perforate. I used a ball point pen on the white and blue leather and a liquid paper correction pen on the black leather.
So this winter while it is cold and raining outside start your perforation project.

Hm... wouldn't you want to ride in NON-perforated leathers during the cold winter, then do your perforating in the spring? ;)

just don't put to many holeswhere you'll strength in the leather in case of a crash.
use more smaller vs less bigger holes.
