I don't know if all of them are like this, but I was helping my bud with some issues he is having with the bike not starting and ran across something kinda disturbing. An H1 650.

I was checking the fuel lines and found that they run them inside the battery box area. They also happen to be very near or under the battery vent, if the vent tube comes loose (like this one did), it eats right through the fuel line. It eats really easily through these lines too because they are some cheap azz lines that look like neoprene or some other really soft rubber type material instead of the thread reinforced fuel line that is usually used.

Just sayin', if you have one, you may want to look the lines over, and if they have that chickenshyt rubber line, you may want to look at at least replacing them with actual fuel line.

Good point Jimmy. I did do that with the owner of the bike- he works with me, and 4 other guys at work share a lease, 3 others bought the same basic bike. I told them all to check on theirs, and the owner of this one is already writing Arctic Cat.

It seems like a good bike, but man, I couldn't believe they put that line in to carry fuel...
