Patrick at MH sells used leathers. You might check with him.

I have the Frank Thomas leathers. I wouldn't recommend them for super high speeds though. I had a 60mph lowside at MSRH and some of the stitching came apart. They've held up to several 30-45 mph crashes on the mini though.

I'm 6' around 200lbs and I wear a 46.

Since you're going on a diet, you could get a decent used pair from Patrick, then pony up for some good ones when you're down to size. And remember Cycle gear hooks us up... and they've got a Frank Thomas on-line for 400 from 650.

My AStars suit worked awesome at one 50-60mph crash and two 20mph mini crashes... it was scuffed up but I came out great (except my head).

fieldsheer revo is a good suit for someone starting out, or for street riding.

i believe the revo line was replaced with the "radar" line though. awesome looking suit....

check with Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited.....he should have a badass deal which probably be cheaper than you can find online.

If you bought from CycleGear in the past, you should have received/will receive a circular in the mail. On the back cover, there's a coupon for 15% any single purchase item.

(I just bought my A* SMX-4 riding boots! I saved 30 bucks... Woohoo!)

That's 60 bucks off for a $400 suit!

Patrick FTW!!!

If I was you PoPo I would seriously consider the Fieldsheer Flex. It is a little better quality and still very reasonable (at Motorcycles Unlimited).
Fully perfed front and back, good armor, they are a good value. I got mine from Patrick, I got to try them on and got the MU good deal to boot!
