My buddy found this dog the other day we have posted signs etc... no luck
This pup is a lover, licker, lap dog. He is house broken etc... he's probably about 6 months old around 40-50lbs. I would take him but can't since I live in a Highrise (No Pitts). All we are asking is for someone to make a $50 donation to a local animal shelter. It's a small price for a good cause. give me a ring if interested 713.253.7647
thanks

I'm on it.
I'll take care of your donation, and if you can wait until wed afternoon, I'll take him to a shelter. I visit shelters all over houston weekly.

It's a pit. He is one of the nicest one I've met he reminds me(attitude) of a golden i had when I was a kid.
The Donation is there so we can keep certain peeps from treating this pup like crap.
Pass it along
thanks for the help,
martin

Last I heard most shelters will put down a pit or a chow. I'll ask Brandon tomorrow if he knows someone, he's got two pits.

most likely a shelter will put him down before he even had the chance to get adopted...i would take him but i already got a pit thats just under a year old and hes a handful (along with a minpin) plus i don't really have enough room for another dog. good luck finding a place for him.

Hey ya'll.
Some more pics and info. He does seem to be friendly with other dogs (gets along well with my biatch of a bullfdog) and does fine with a kennel. I have had him since he was found and I would keep him if my bulldog would share her house. If anyone is interseted in him let me know and I would be happy to either have someone come by and check him out or bring him out for you to check out.
Adam C if you are still interested PM me. (your wife would fall in love, he is a sweetie)
Thanks yall, just can't bear to take this guy to a shelter.

I understand completly. I have a shepherd and a basset right now, one from a shelter. 1 is a pet, 2 is good company, but 3 makes you a collector. I was under the impression that CAPS was a no kill shelter. I have seen a few "staffordshire terriors" there, but I have no idea how they were handled. I would still like to donate, bring food/toys, to whomever has him, just call me @832.816.4522.
very few people really understand dog handling/training, I'd be happy to assist (or send good training location info) to the lucky new owner.

thanks to everybody who read this thread and even considered trying to do anything to help this pup out. It has been a long haul, I had a few people that wanted him but couldn't make arrangements to take him but I finally found him a new home. A couple and their young daughter fell in love with the little guy and had to have him.
So, the pup finally got a home and I don't think he could have gone to a better place.
Once again thanks everyone.
