My wonderful boyfriend just surprised me with by telling me he signed me up for the msf course with Awesome Cycle's on these days!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!

RACERX should be so proud!!!:keke:

Now here is the thing.. I need some good websites or stores that sell jackets and boots for a good/fair price. I just sold my jacket to dude's wifey... :crying:

Also, who is the instructor for this weekend class? Not that I would know them, but start remember now because I probably will ask a lot of questions. I'll be the annoying girl, front and center! :D

What To Wear

long pants (jeans fine)

long sleeved shirt or long sleeved jacket

eye protection, eyeglasses or sunglasses fine. if you wear an open face or 1/2 helmet. most schools provide loaner helmets, but bring a do-rag as some helmets have been there for a while. your own personnal helmet is fine as long as it's DOT approved.

STURDY OVER THE ANKLE SHOES.

gloves, pretty much any glove. as long as their full finger gloves. but remember, if you take a fall, these gloves will be the first to make impact, so sturdy is a pretty good idea.

I actually went to Academy to try on some hiking boots because we are going camping this weekend, and they ALL sucked. I might as well spend the money now to buy some good boots that I can continue to ride in verses buying hiking shoes and risking not being able to return them because I will only wear them for a weekend. I know I am difficult, that is why I want to find something good for a good price.

don't remember who I had when I took my class there. Teacher was ok but I had some personality differences between me and her and it kinda made it not tooo toooo enjoyable. but the class was good and i still had some fun.

Glad your going to awesome cycles though.:thumb:

Borrow a jacket and boots so you can use your discount at MU after the class to buy the stuff cheaper. I used my discount on my Sidi Vertigos and it saved me a LOT! +100 on Awesome Cycles and Patrick at MU.

O-M-G! So yea it was super duper cold out there! I layered up and bought the frog toggs to keep me warm. They helped a lot yesterday even as much as it rained yesterday. Today the blue sky was just teasing us. :angry7:

Overall, the class was awesome! :keke: He told me not to wheelie because that would deducted points off my test. :keke:
David and Sam were great and helped me out a lot! You two made this class so much fun! Also, thank Sam for me, he shared his hand warmers with me.:hello:

OKay now it is time for me to thaw out and get ready for a few beers!

This is true.. I am not shy to act a fool in public because I do the same chit at home... I wasn't too much of a coot at the class because it was so stinkin cold. I held up like a trooper though!
