I am selling my baby...its a 2006 ZX-6R 636 with+/- 9000 miles. Has alot of upgrades...Full M4 Carbon fiber exhaust, PCIII tuned my motorcycles unlimited,speedohealer recalibration kit, -1 tooth front sprocket, pit-bull steering dampner, stainless steel brake lines front and back, euro front signals, intergraded rear tail light, matching seat cowl(still have rear seat) and Puig rear tire hugger. Front tire had 75% tread left and the rear has about 90% which is a pilot power 2CT. Bike runs and looks flawless...serious buyers only. they wont give you more than $4000 at a dealer. i have the black book in my hand and it says $4150 for a fair trade... thats what they call all trades. most def i would sell it out right or consignment.

yea i figured that out today...i went to 5 dealerships...i did get a trade in value at one for 6700...which was pretty good if u ask me...if any one can match that or beat that maybe we can work something happen...again i have the title in hand...i know that 7500 is alot but i had to start high

that's not too far from what you gonna get from an individual. I say trade it in. If you wait the price will continue to fall each day. It's damn hard to find someone with that kind of cash laying around, especially this time of year.

I would hope so. They're not in business to lose money.

BYRDMAN, I'd trade it in for 6700. You MIGHT be able to get 7k out of it eventually, but it'll be a long drawm out hassle more than likely. In the end I think a $300 loss would probably be worth it. :nod:

i went friday to see the 07 kawi zx6 they have a special going at 7,500, i have a friend who is about to buy one and wanted me to see it, is always better to sell it on trade in they usually offer you good money but raise the price on what ever your buying so your bike ends up costing them less

werd...thanks for everyone inputs but its already to late!!!! I ended up getting it last week...and i did get 6500 out of it but then they wouldnt come down on the MSRP...but its ok...i feel good about the trade and i came out happy in the end....

the ZX-14 is a freakin beast...still getting use to it...kind of miss my 636 but when i start taking long trips this spring then it will be all worth it....
ps if any one is interested in going to big bend for maybe 4 days or so let me know...that is going to be my first trip!!!
