I was at Motorcycles Unlimited earlier and looking at getting some new leathers for next season, since the one i have has a lot of holes here and there from me flexing my muscles too much (or crashing, i'm not sure):keke:

Fieldsheer has a new model of leathers...comes in 1 piece or 2 piece. This model is replacing their Revo line.

Fieldsheer "Radar"

They are not yet released, but from the look of the pictures, they look badass. Not to mention price is right too! it's cheaper than the "Flex" model.....but looks very comparable. has aerodynamic hump and nice design on the suit as well.

Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited has VERY good prices on Fieldsheer gear. If anybody is ready to smoke the track pipe. This suit seems like a good introduction into the world of leathers. I am even thinking about downgrading and getting this "cheaper" model......when patrick gets one at his shop, he will do a comparison and do his touchy feely stuff to evaluate the suit.

just by looking at the suit in the catalog, i'm almost sold, i like it. Let's hope the quality of it is comparible to the "flex" line.

it should be similar to the price of the revo suit.....i forgot the price. but i'm sure you can call MU about prices.

although this suit isn't even released yet, so i guess we'll have to wait and see. patrick said when he gets one in, he's gonna evaluate it to see if it's worthy of selling. so i'll wait for his recommendation first.

I bought a Flex from Patrick and he gave me the best deal I found anywhere, including the internet. The best part was I got to try it on before I bought it and paid shipping. Plus he gave me sizing advice and got the fit right for me.
If you are thinking about getting started doing trackdays or if you need a new suit... GO SEE PATRICK!!!

me too! i made a lot of contributions to patrick's retirement fund this year :keke:

that's the best part of buying from patrick....ESPECIALLY with leathers. they aren't like t-shirts where you can buy any size L or whatever and it fits everytime. it definately sucks if you buy a suit on the internet, and it doesn't fit because you went by their "sizing chart" and the sizing chart was not accurate enough.

Patrick and Suzanne at motorcycles unlimited are the best people to buy leathers from in the whole Houston and surrounding areas. very knowledgeable and have plenty of suits on hand to try out and get fitted before actually making the purchase.

The sizing chart thing is a problem because not all the manufacturers suits fit the same even tho' they are the "same" size.
A 42 from Dainese is not the same as a 42 from Teknic or AGV.
I bought a suit last year from Cycle Gear that wasn't in stock. They had to order it in and then the size was wrong so they got another in from LA. Almost missed my first trackday because the suit was delayed and got here the day before.
I was already tense about the trackday and wondering if I was gonna have to ride naked didn't help.
