I snagged this 1980 Honda CT70 to build for my better half throughout the winter. I've already got a set of billet wheels(one of her christmas presents:keke:) and some new bolt on goodies ready to mount up. I plan on stripping the entire bike and painting it olive drab(at her request) and powdercoating everything else black. After i get it rebuilt I'm gonna get it plated and use it as our grocery getter to and from the local convenience store. FWIW, she absolutely loves it and that's all that matters to me:D

thanks for the kind words guys. It will be a fun build for me since Andrea wants to get her hands dirty on this one. I really wanted to do a nice resto mod and build it back to showroom condition but she won't have it(she hates Honda's Paradise Red). I think the Military look will turn out nice as long as i do good prep work. Now that my E-tarted ass finally learned to post pics to the internet ill keep updating this thread as work progresses.

Sounds like it should turn out sweet, hopefully you dont need to lower it for her to get her feet on the ground

Hey Joe there was an old hippy-looking dude with an antique Budweiser open face helmet rocking one of those at RRMT this weekend, I thought terrain like this

Absolutely. Just having that section will get a lot of projects done just to show them off.
