when i high sided at the track, why did my scotts top mount and fork cap get scraped up really bad and i didnt shatter my upper or do anything worse to front?

my subframe has scratches on the edges near the tail but nothing is bent. my tail had some minor holes but nothing i couldnt fix.

did my bike flip or drag on the scotts and fork cap? what usually happens to a motorcycle in a high side, flip?

dude none of them are the same. sometimes they just fall over after you get offed and they slide. other times they hit the dirt and start flipping. i'm sure you have seen video...... no one can really say what happend to your bike unless they have it on video, but most likely it might have slid over the apron and flipped at that point just to get the fork cap and dampner. i really wouldnt sweat it though, its not worth analyzing what happened to the bike, just work on what you did wrong so that it doesn't happen again. sorry about the crash though its never fun. later

your bike was going down to the right and then it flicked you to the left and if I recall correctly since I was RIGHT behind you that's when you got launched and it seems as if the left side of the bike rolled over first. Im guesing the angle at which it happened just happened to get the dampner and cap instead. I cant recall exactly. But Im thinkin thas what happened.

But yeah you just never know which way that thing is gonna go. :dontknow:

i dont know what kind but it has some on the elbows, shoulders, and knees i think. i wasnt wearing a back protector but im getting one for next track day. i dont know how i didnt get more seriously hurt while not wearing one.

some of the desing stitching on the back came loose from dragging on the track but can be easily sewed back on.
