Just wondering if anyone on here has any of the products from Akuma. I'm looking into getting a new helmet and I'm sure I'll get flamed on a little on this one but I was interested in the Akuma Stealth Helmet from www.akumahelmets.com

It says they are DOT and ECE 22-05 Approved which I googled (ECE) to be pretty durable and give real life protection testing.
http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-helmets/ece-22-05.htm
Helmets certified to the ECE 22.05 standard are approved for competition events by AMA, CCS, FIM, Formula-USA and WERA and are chosen by nearly every professional motorcycle racers competing in world championship road racing, motocross and off road events, including the ultimate sport of Moto GP.

But yea....anyone have this helmet?? Any opinions??

Found a review with a koo video demo of the helmet. Seems pretty good in all aspects as far as looks, durability, vision as far as where u can look even through a lean, lightweight and evenly distributed, built in map light, and good ventilation. Only worries might be sound levels at high speeds.

Yea I think they use the KBC manufactures for the shell. I read that somewhere in that review thing.

I was down at Tejas Motorsports today and was saw these Akuma Helmets?
The designs were pretty sweet and they were light and comfortable. Has anyone else heard of these things, or anyone have one so I can get some feed back or reviews:thumb::thumb:

The salesman said that they meet the European Safety standards, and the helmet has LED's built in to the rear and one Led up front for a Map light

It felt a little lighter than my Scorpion EXO-700 to me, We were also looking at the New Scorpion EXO-1000
