they are fixing the damages to the new asphalt i hear. :dontknow:

check out the karter's forum on the Katy site, they post updates on there pretty regularly... so far no one has been on the surface since about a month or so ago. They have a few events coming up before the tmgp race, so we'll just have to wait and see how the track holds up to them.
