I don't support communism either. I'm all for free-speech. But there is a difference between free-speech and religious fueled hatred of homosexuals.

I agree that California takes a welfare-state approach to everything and has some very unnecessary laws.

People who are on the outside looking in just can't understand why some laws end up in effect.

I'll bet that most people here weren't ostracized in high school for not sharing in the religious beliefs of the majority.

The same can be said for kids who grow up with one parent or two gay parents. They hear "mommy and daddy" all the time and can feel ashamed for having two daddies or two mommies.

The law shouldn't have been enacted. People should have taken the initiative to educate their children as to WHY they have two dads rather than have the state step in and outlaw a common turn of phrase.

On the other hand, does everyone in America fear the change that is coming? Acceptance of homosexuals? Hispanic cultural influence? Freedom from religious persecution?

Are they still allowed to teach "Where Babies Come From" in health class? I mean...you know...sperm (male-uh oh! gender!) and eggs (female-oh noes! gender again).

Really, come on sheeple! What's with all the rectal-cranial inversions these days?

California, the land of fruits and nuts...Jk

Seriously, I have never heard of the government control like California. It seems that every issue that we face in modern life either results in a bill or a law in that state. The truely amazing part is that the people in that state seem to be okay with it. Why should they have to think about what is right for them if somebody in the Gov will do it for them!:eek3:

I guess I'm old fashioned because I like to make my own choices and I vote to elect leaders that respect that.

TEXAS FTW!!!

I fear the quality of life that will be prevalent after this country's moral compass is completely removed. You mention religious persecution, I'm sorry but I don't agree with you. What about heterosexual, and Christian persecution? For the past 50 years it has been the Christian's who have been attacked by the secularists who want all forms of Christianity removed from any public place. Its been the homosexuals that have been shoving their agenda's down our throats. Now we ( well, they - the people in California ) can't send their children to school without their basic moral and family standards being attacked? It is they who are on the offensive, not the Christian church, and we're being forced further and further into a corner.

I absolutely do not hate the homosexual, we're commanded not to!!! It is (supposed to be) out of love that the Christian reach out with the Good news of the Gospel of Christ, of which I am not ashamed.
