Didnt watch it as I used to help my grandpa "process" animals for food. The prefered way to do it now is to cut the neck and bleed the chicken, the first time I did it Ill admit to having passed out. It wasnt something I liked, holding it over a barrel while it flopped around in my hand. I also hunt and am careful to take a clean shot, I may eat them but Im a stanch believer in severly punishing those who mistreat animals just for fun or neglect.

in high school i had a class next to the "ag" department. one day they had a bunch of chickens that had to be prepared for selling, so i went over to watch how they performed there duty and was suprised at what i saw. they take a knife, put it inside the birds mouth, jab it up into the brain, give it a twist (to scramble the brain), pull the knife out, and then slice the head off (one fluid motion). they did this all above a huge trashcan and would just drop the body in and close the lid until it stopped moving. then they throw the body in some damn near boiling, hot water and removed the feathers. it was pretty interesting to watch.

i bought live fish and had the head cut off. 1hr later and the tail was still flapping when i opened it up from the wrapper getting ready to cook it at home. guess i froze him pretty good.

I agree with you if its just for fun.. but it looks like they were Po-Dunk prepping dinner...I remember a video on H-I that had to do with animal abuse, and I remember that not one person could watch the whole thing due to the horrific and cruel scenes which it contained... some people just dont deserve to live.. but man, if thats din din... set me a seat!

seen that done too. long time ago, when my fam went to Colombia, we visited one of my mom's kinfolk. well, they lived on a lil plot of land, like a mini farm, had rabbits and chicken runnin around. they did the whole twirl thing and let it go. i was like whoa. then i watched as they plucked the feathers. tasted good after they cooked it.
