What year is your 636?

It seems like the 06's were a bad model for transmission trouble.

when i had my 636 i had the same problem. in higher rpm's it would slip outta gear and make a clacking noise. did it to me 2 times, and it was enough to for me to decide to sell it. after i heard about it being "normal" for 636 to do that.

my R1 has done that once or twice before. same clacking noise. i just shove it in gear and it doesn't do it again untill i have a mis shift. or kinda a mis shift. either way its only happened once or twice im not worried about it.
