Posting it for a friend. Good guy so don't give him any crap, it is what it is......I think he's asking 4400.00.........
Steve,
This is what I'm selling. It's a 2002 Yamaha R6 with 11.5k miles and a rebuilt salvage title. Yearly inspection was performed last week as this bike has been driven 8k miles in the last year. This is literally a 2004 bike with a 2002 title. I bought it as a hulk with matching numbers but not sure of what the bike was before. I have verified it is a 2004 by engine ID# and also a couple of other ID numbers on the bike. The buyer would have to understand that if he / she took it to a dealership, it may cause problems. I didn't realize this until I got the bike completed and started going back over it. Anyway, I bought the bike, had a friend with the plastics, engine cover, clip ons, exhaust, and a few other items and it was back together. The frame is in almost perfect shape with only an imperfection on the top on either side of the gas tank mounting bolts. Plastics have no rash, just a couple of light scratches in a couple of spots. It has a Metzeler M3 on the rear that is about 6 months old. It could use a new front tire though. It is all stock minus a BMC street air filter, DID X-ring chain with -1 in the front and a factory size aluminum sprocket on the rear, and it has a cut down factory pipe on it that could stand to be replaced. Works perfectly, just not my cup of tea. The bike is also lowered for 1/4 mile racing with a dogbone in the rear. It is lowered through the triples in the front. The kickstand has been shortened so it sits right when standing. The only other mods are bluewheel stripes, Hotbodies front signal lights, and the rear signals and fender have been removed and replaced with a tag plate. Overall I rate the bike and 8.5 I guess. Byt the way, the bike is factory Yamaha blue with the white and silver accenting. IThats about the best I can describe the bike, if you need any more info. just let me know, and I'll shoot it your way.
Thanks again guys,
Billy
