hey moody... did you end up taking the ty howard class?... how was it???...

he took it alright, he was in the classroom for an aweful long time, i only got to talk to him for about 1 minute and he had to run, i was takin pics by the time i got back to the paddock he was in class already,, and when they called level 3,4 i went to take more pics, only saw him on the track.. got some pretty nice shots of him though.. he was runnin somewhere around 2:06 to 2:08

Howdy... Yeah I took the Ty Howard class and for the money you can not beat it. Although it was hot as hell on Saturday and it is some work as James explained because there is not much down time. In fact with my old back acting up all day due to something I did to it Wednesday night I bailed on the last session but, man the follow behind video and commentary is worth it all. Learned alot about how screwed up my lines where and by just working on that with trail braking my times are getting very close to popping that 2:00 minute cherry. I will probably be taking it again in September when they are back at TWS so I can see how I have improved and what else I should work on. :icon_thumright:

Moody... not sure if you know or not... but Ty also does a one on one thing at MSR. It's a bit more $$$ than just a trackday, but one of my endurance teammates that did it, said it was well worth it... he ended up dropping about 5 seconds at each track.

Yeah I think I read about that on HSN. I have not been able to get enough time on the MSR track yet but I definetly have this in mind. I will probably save that option for next year when I am hopefully racing and find out more about what I will probably need to work on from that stand point. I have several things at this time to work on for track days through the rest of this season. Thanks! :icon_thumright:
