This a good deal? Exhaust, Wheels, Rearsets

Is $1920 to my door a good deal on the following?


Hindle full SS exhaust, can cut down 2"
Marchesini forged magnesium 10 spoke Wheels
PP Tuning adjustable rear sets


Basically, I just need some assurance that I am doing the right thing here, even though I know my riding ability is no where near the parts that I am planning on putting on. But it seems like such a good deal!

wheels about $1k used, exhaust $4-500, rearsets prolly another $3-400 maybe.

nice...i'm getting the wheels for $1500 (they are magnesium:icon_thum), the exhaust at $300, and the rearsets for $120

+1, I would take 2k in suspension over all the above any day. Except maybe the rearsets. Your a short fella and those would be nice in the corners.

i'd do the rearsets, suspension by M-U and split the rest of the money into Trackdays to better your ability.

oh don't worry, i'm not going to drop all this money into the bike and not do the suspension...i'm the king of unnecessary mods...but i am moreso the king of having everything setup correctly...tires and suspension are the easiest and most effective upgrades around whether that be in motocross, sportbikes, or cars...

well good suspension you can buy at anytime, i'm guessing these are used parts and don't come around as often.

Noboby knows what's best for you better then you. Do what makes you happy. I'd have magnesium rims too if I could afford them.

For that kind of dough, have the seller take the wheels to a mechanic in the area and have them checked for straightness and cracks before you send a penny. Magnesium...cool. Yes sir, you are the king of unnecessary. Maybe just buy that king Gixxer that was listed on the site a couple of weeks ago. It would save you 20 G's in the long run.

however, i wasn't certain if at $1500 for a set of magnesium wheels, and at $300 for a full system, whether I should just jump on it for the hell of it.

Cliff, Just remember that rims are a dispensible item on bikes. They take alot of beating when you start riding the bike hard. IE, I have one that is missing a chunk in my garage from my most recent track day visit. A set of spares come alot cheaper when you are running stock. Truely I would look at suspension. If you are not running full Ohlins or something similar then you have not experienced what is "Great Stuff".

The exhaust and rearsets sound like a steal. Especially if you have a slipon that you could sell after getting the full exhaust. So do the rims but they carry a higher price tag that could easily put some other great parts on your bike that would actually benefit your riding.
