I've done one.*

sport trac

shell 340 miles to a tank
exxon 400 miles to a tank
chevron 450 miles to a tank

gt stang

shell 260 miles to a tank
exxon 280 miles to a tank
chevron 310 miles to a tank

these are all premium numbers I'm jsut trying to figure out why i'm getting such good gas milieage from chevron and exxon' premium 93 but such shitty milieage from shell v power.

Interesting road test results. Most companies will buy additional raw gasoline from other refineries if they can't meet demand. They just add their own additives, the raw gasoline is molecularly identical. It's the additives that will affect emissions, carbon buildup, gas mileage etc.....

:eek3: :eek3: :eek3: Shit....!!! That's very interesting....I always use SAM's Club gas or Race Track (cheapest ones close to me) but I'll give it a try with Chevron.

do you drive at the same speeds and same disctances for the test?

I think should start filling up with chevron and exxon from now on.

actually it's just with every day shit we do. when we travel the numbers go up slightly of course. shell was always the lowest. i'm with chevron only now though cause the numbers are jsut undeniable.
