Anybody have this problem? Or just general numbness in your fingers? How do you deal with it. It seems to be worse since I got the sportbike...but, I love it and can't stop riding.

make sure your controls are properly adjusted to whats comfy for you and gloves always help, i used to have that prob when i didnt wear gloves, now i wear them and no probs,, along with the adjustments of the clutch and brake levers..

Well first you are probably riding your bike wrong and using your wrist to hold yourself up, this is wrong, use your legs and abs by gripping the tank. There should be no pressure on your wrists at all. This will also allow the front end of the bike to opperate correctly. The bars should float in your hands. Second, stretch your wrists and arms out before and after you ride. Last, while you are riding make sure you are not putting a death grip on the bars. Just relax and have fun.

Excelent suggestions.* I have thought of the "death grip" thing, and at first that was my problem (new bike = a little scared)...but, I've changed that, and now I need to do the legs/abs thing...* thanks* :hs:

The "death grip" thing for sure....

try heavier bar ends if your aftermarket pipe vibrates alot. if you have the stock can that sounds like a vaccum cleaner, do something to help the calf muscle strengthen and use that part also.
dont forget the ball of your foot should be on the peg and thats where your pushing/holding yourslef up.

sounds like common sense but I see so many riders with at least thier gear foot hangin down....will result in painful consequences when you need to lean if over a bit more then usual....
