kickstand....

need to have my kick stand shortened.... i kinda work all day from monday thru friday.. called motorcyles-unlimited but i have to drop in morning and pick up later.. unless they open @ 5am i dont see it happening:sad7: ..Any one know of a shop i can take it to? New to Houston so dont know many places.. its 2:20pm now, if any one knows of a place to do it today... that would be awesome.. :laughing6

I plan to get an OEM off ebay or something if i want to get it to stock height.. for now, i want to do some riding and i cant park without risking a tip over..:BangHead:

you could probably take it to a muffler shop and get it re-welded....but they are sloppy sometimes, so go to a reputable one.

when i had my old bike's kickstand shortened....we just took a blow torch to it, and bent the kickstand a little more sideways.

that's what i hear people doing.. the torching til the weight of bike bend to proper/safe angle.. i kinda want a more professional look.
Motorcycles-Unlimited gave me a great price..well i have not looked around, but i dont have the time to drop in the morning during the week..
