MH Mini Race Meet!!!!

Tony's Flying Pizza
13708 Northwest Freeway
Houston, TX 77040
(it's located off 290, between tidwell and fairbanks)


Time and Date: TBA (To Be Announced)
Will most likely be a Sunday night after 7pm, all the other businesses will be closed by then, and the parking lot will be free and open.

Requirement to Race:
Full gear (leathers, boots, gloves, helmet)
must sign liability waiver if you race also (i know it's fun and games, but it's a just in case kinda thing for the owner's sake)

The owner will have BEER SPECIALS and PIZZA SPECIALS for us that night!!!

just to get an idea of the parking lot...here are a few pictures! it is EXTREMELY well lit and HUGE, and we'll need CONES to block off a little section for our race or use the cars/trucks to block it off. and cones to layout our track as well.

it may, or may not......but it's worth a shot! my friend says the parking lot is dead on sundays by 7-8.....and said sunday would be the best day to do this.

they've had car meets there before......only one that got broken up was when they had like 250+ cars show up.

Sunday works best for me...i can spend all day tuning! plus this is far enough away where i'll have the bike all back together from paint and powder coating!

Why not talk to the good folks at the Horse track and use thier parking lot? It is larger, well lit, and no islands to hit when Reddy Racing lowsides!

hahaha. i was thinking go around the islands....so even if you lowside, you won't hit anything.

the horse track would definately be a nice place to use....but i don't think they'll let us use it....for free anyways. :dontknow:

I know the dog track holds scca races and some cart races as well. But once again doubt the will allow the use of their lot for free .... who knows wouldnt hurt to give em a call

Don't think that's a good idea. Even at low speeds of 20 -50 mph, asphalt stills hurts! :nod:

I am not willing to sacrifice my hide for anything. Safety should be your concern, not the fun factor. Besides, when you know that you are well protected, you tend to ride more agressive and comfortably. That = much more fun

if you guys can't borrow a set of leathers.....maybe we'll throw a mini race in another spot where nobody (that we know) is responsible if we do get hurt and need an ambulance....then it can be a free for all race.
