Thanks to Patrick and his crew for taking care of my precious Vmax. This bike was a headache for them and I sincerely appreciate everyone doing what they have done. I have never let anyone work on any of my bikes, I just didn't ever trust anyone to take care of them as I do... I must say I fully trust and appreciate all they have done.
You see, I have been building this bike from the ground up since 2005 in the dining room of our old townhouse. Finally after my last injury I decided that I needed a clear head to look it over because I couldn't remember what I had or had not done, I was so stressed that I just disgusted myself each and every time I wanted to touch it.
After seeing the work he had done with the other two bikes in the house I knew he could be trusted... he just knew how to talk to me, and SuzAnne too! You have a great gal there Patrick!
They went through my bike and found things I was amazed they found, but so very thankful they did.
Patrick, when you asked me what I thought and I said I could cry... I was serious. I have such a passion for this bike and I know you can see it. Thanks you ever so much, and your crew too. Without you I would still be disgusted and heartbroken over my beloved Vmax, for I am Vmaxgirl after all and this is the machine that is the love of my life.

Another thanks to Noctem, the human love of my life... without you baby, this could not have ever been. You were there tying my hair back and getting me Dr. Pepper the whole time I was building him and I can never thank you enough. It was amazing to see you riding him home for me. You are the greatest! I love you.

Yes, tears are allowed when you have put so much into it. I didn't buy this bike like most people, in one piece. I rebuilt it from the frame up, minus any engine upgrades. This is the bike my ex husband took apart thinking I would never want it in the divorce but after mine was stolen just weeks before the final decree:mumum: ... I wasn't going to take no for an answer, so I took all of the parts I could find and bought the rest. I worked on it while working full time, going to school full time and going through three surgeries... along with my beautiful kiddos. It took me way too long and when I took it to Patrick for the once over and finally got it back... I was so happy I could have cried. So nah Clyde, some crying is allowed!:keke:

And Duc's are nice, but I want something I don't have to wait two months for parts for...:keke:

I am awaiting another surgery before I can walk so I had to have my sweetheart bring him home for me, but I will be out and about soon.

That is Awesome! Congrats on getting it all finished. Let us know when you're riding and we'll all go out if you want, seeing as how were just across the channel from each other.

It's hard to find parts for antiques though...........isn't it?:eek3:
I hope you bring it out and show it off next weekend................:icon_thum

Hell, it was easier than getting Ducati parts. I got seals and gaskets, even some of the more unusual ones, in less than 5 days!:eek3:

Beat the month or more I've waited on some Ducati parts.:eh:

It is not an antique, just the frame is an 89, everything else is 94.:keke:
