Most forums I belong to have a members only section. It's not so much the section that I care for but it allows members to help cover some of the bandwidth fees to cut down on advertising(which isn't bad AT ALL on MH as it is). Sometimes you get special priviledges such as being able to hold more PMs, or have custom titles(which everyone can do here), etc. Just a thought, I know some people think of this site as a religion and I am quickly catching on to why but I know the owners can never have too much help funding the site!

chris doesn't and will not charge anyone...this has already been tried...it's a awesome idea though

Whoops I apologize for the repost, I searched but didn't find anything. I understand how he feels but someone's gotta foot the bills, and I'm sure some of the people around here wouldn't mind pitching in! In that case, does anyone sell MH apparal, possibly with part of the profit going to the site or a rider foundation?

Chris probably still has some MH shirts for sale. The forum sponsors also help defray the costs of running the forum.

hahaha actually at my bronco site the members only section is 18+ and it's the only section that is uncensored and you can post whatever you want.

probaly wont happen because when members wants something that they dont get, they will say MH owes them since they donated.

I'd hope the members here that like the site enough to help support it wouldn't act that way. The point isn't to really get something, it's just to show that you care enough about the site to help be a part in maintaining it, the extras that come with the membership are just that, extras.

I actually searched the BBQ, I'm confused as to exactly what/where/when it is. Unfortunately from what I gather it is June 16th. On June 16th I am volunteering for the SMART Animal Rescue for their motorcycle rally at Pappas in the Woodlands.

wish it was that simple but MH is a diverse group of people. some are e-thugs that hide behind a screen and choose to act that way and bring up drama on a boring work day, while most are outstanding members willing to help. however, a few bad apples seem to always ruin the batch.

yeah, the BBQ will help support the site enough. although the costs will be out of the owners pockets (solracer), forum sponsors have stepped up to cover costs and make most of the donations applicable to the message board.

the bbq is at MSR-H in Angleton, TX and will last all day.
