you don't have to be a racer to have tire warmers, is a good tool to keep your tires at a temperature preveting them from heat cycles they also eliminate the chance of cold tire incident:biggthumpup:

They do run some $$$ but you really dont have to be a racer. You ahve no idea how many people I see with them that could do without, they're mainly to preserve the tires like UFO said. You also dont have to take the warm-up lap like normal. You can haul ass from the minute they let you onto the track. :biggthumpup:

yeah, i understand the purpose of them but, i just dont feel as though i need them for anything at all...

Yeah and there is nothing like hauling ass out of the box, it is a crazy ride going through those bumps just out of pit lane "LOVE IT" :biggthumpup:

I actually haul ass moderately through there... Next time on the track I need to do it for real as if I was in a race. Just to get that "Oh shit" feeling out of my system come race time :tongue5:

alot of times when lap traffic gets too bad and my tires are hot I pull in pit lane and stop at the starting grid and do a moch start...just try and time the straight away traffic. dont want it to get ugly down there.
