View Full Version : Power Commander tuning center
Any recommendations for good shop that can install and tune a Power Commander - preferably with a dyno and "Dynojet Fuel Injection Tuning Link" software.

What mods have you done to your bike?
If it's close to stock inernally you won't really realize any noticeable gain from a custom map.
However if you're hell bent on one, I can get it done for you.

metric motorcycles can custom map. 713-334-8030
but as patrick said, unless you have some mods, it's not gonna help alot.

You don't have to have mods to get the benefit from a Power Commander with a good map. Just ask the RC-51 guys.

The maps that they have on the website are alot better than stock and are usually good enough for the common punk with a slip on and air filter. IMO its not worth the $400 that is necessary for a full dyno tune when running stock cams/internals.....just my 2 cents

Patrick or another shop might have something already built up and saved on a computer. Give a phone call and see. Then you'll have easy tunability with the PCIII when you do more mods. It will grow with the bike.
Throw us in the mix, too. We've got a lot of Honda experience.

I just called Tejas Motorsports about some new tires and a run on the dyno... they are CHEAP! Michelin 2ct's are 270 + 36 to install, and that is on or off the bike!

Tejas has an idiot for a dyno operator/tuner.... Good dyno and facility but....operator is an idiot.
Best place relatively local for HIGH PERFORMANCE tuning is 3rd Coast in Westlake La. They build and tune 400+hp turbo bikes etc...
BUT as mentioned above, if its stock internally, you really don't need it mapped. They MAY get 3-4hp out of it but...its hardly worth the $250.
