I saw a thread recently and the answer was to see Patrick at MU to get ideas. I haven't had time to ever visit MU so I want to post here.
Has anyone seen a different exhaust setup for the 2007 R1? Something other than the dual undertail pipes? I like 'em, but I love the look of the shorties coming out of the sides of the R6's and others.
Any ideas???
Thanks in advance:icon_thum

Because the '07 R1 is so new, exhaust options are still a little limited.
I'd wait a month or so to see what becomes available.
However, I doubt anything will come out converting the exhaust from an undertail to a shorty underneath.
anyone here have an 07 with slip ons? im going to change out mine and would like to see some pics and reviews of some of the slip ons. I have seen pics of akra, graves, and two brothers. I want the gytr... they are f'in sweet, but xxpensive.

I've put on a set of Leo Vince that were very nice, M4 too.
In my experience, GYT-R stuff isn't all that well built.

yeah, the gytr's are weak sauce.
The new Sato's look sick and probably make some nice power. Just depends on how much your looking to spend though. Like Patrick said, wait a month or two if you don't see anything you like now, everyone will have a setup for that bike before long.
Satos good , but nothing for 07s. Ive been waiting six months already, no more pacience.

you can trade your 07 R1 for my 2006 R6. I got a nasty looking little shorty exshast coming out the side just like you like.
I just ordered the yoshi trc carbon slip ons. Theyre on the way. sweet.
