Would you consider getting a riding jacket that didn't have armor in it? Or is having CE armor a must have in your opinion?

if you are going to spend the money...might as well go all the way

armor all the way.

Have you ever smacked your elbow on the edge of a table? How did it feel? Now imagine it smacking the concrete.

I've been down in a couple different jackets, and can say that on top of providing protection from road rash, the CE armor in the shoulders and elbows saved me some serious impact related injury.

speaking of the armor, can you guys remind me to put it back in my jacket. I took it out of my jacket a while back and keep forgeting to put it back in.:BangHead:

i know when I got hit last year. I was knocked down and flipped off the bike. I made full use of the knee, back and elbow armor. the palm of the gloves got some rash as well as the helmet. definetly would have had a broken foot and been beat up and bruised, rashed without gear on. Only had a bruised foot from the exhaust hitting it.

I'd get the armor.

Even with armor my shoulder was sore after my TMGP crash last weekend. That's armor WITH 1.2mm leather covering it.
