What exhausts do the 14 owners here run? I want one but they are so damned expensive right now.

Is anyone runnig a Micron on a 14? They have a cool fade black to red canister and the full system only weighs 9lbs. I would like to hear the exhaust note before I commit to $1000K.

Brocks / Hindle.
I've had mixed experiences with Micron; shoddy build quality and fit.

It'll get you a little more mid range.

Patrick,
are you able to order the Brock's systems?

If so, could you PM a price tomorrow?

I have heard great things about them an Brock is one of the original go-fast tuners for the 14.

zzr,
have you changed your gearing? Dropping a tooth will give you some extra low end oomph and it is cheap. The ignition advancer will give you a little more power and give you better throttle response. In other words, you bike dials the available oomph a little quicker.
I ran advancers on my last two bikes and I enjoyed the result both times.

Just gussing here but a good quality sprocket from Sprocket Specialists or JT will run around $20.00 bones and the advancer around $60.00. You will not be disappointed in the results and those are arguably the best bang for the buck "go quick" mods that you can get. :icon_thum

Those look bad ass my friend!
How is the sound?

I will go to a 4-to 1 to ditch the weight. I have looked at the Yoshi pipes because the shape of the tip matches the rear of the bike.

Every exhaust for the 14 is just plain expensive, dammit!

I like the sound. With the quiet tips its bearable but still loud IMO. Without the quiet tips it was :eek3: :eek3: .

I really like how they match the black paint. We could meet up sometime if you'd like to hear them.

Definitely, I will have to take you up on that offer.

Are you running with no flies etc?
If so, what PC Map do you run?

I have the Ivan's PCIII with the TRE module and no flies and life is good. I just need some sound!

No flies, Ivan's map, tre 06a, pc3. Sounds like we have the same mods except the exhaust. :icon_thum I also have the Hyperpro steering damper and am almost done with the Whistler radar detector install. Also seriously thinking about getting my headers ceramic coated.

Brock's is the best IMO, as soon as I'm done working on my Truck the bike is getting a Brock's SMEGaphone and PC III + timing advancer.

Oh, and ZX-14.com is your best bet for exhaust testimonies.

See ya around!

EDIT: MU has the hookup! Fact: Patrick is a one of Brock's many clones. If Brock dies, one of the clones steps up and takes his place. :laughing6

The Brock's is a GReat exhaust but if the loud noise isn't for you, get the TiForce Titanium for the most mid and top power. Their 4-2-1 weighs in at 9 pounds for the complete system including the mount bracket.
