How many of you guys have back protectors for the up coming track day? I have a couple extra ones that I will be bringing and allowing trustworthy people to borrow if nescessary. Otherwise I am suggesting that everybody start looking into them. They may not be so important in your mind at first but a couple of trips around the track at a nice pace will have you thinking about them quick. I just picked up my Knox back protector from Motorcycles - Unlimited for a hell of a deal. :icon_thumright:

i got mine,, it really helps out with back support if you have lower back pains like me,,,
and it is well worth the money to have it,, even if you dont need it

back protectors are indispensable... they're a must. Hurting your back in a fall is the last thing you would want beside your head..

all suits come with foam padding in the back, but not to be trusted,,, not considered a back protector in my book,, you need to get a full length spine protector,, something that covers up your whole spine,, its purpose is to not allow your back and spine to bend backwards, the pc thats in the suit you bought is only going to cover a small portion of your back so it is best to go back to MU and get the knox b.p. or go to cycle gear and pick up one from there..

Talk to Patrick about the Knox back protectors. They use energy dispertion designs to help reduce the impact to your back as well. this is what I will be rockn under my suit. :icon_thumright:

im talking about the hard plastic back protector not the foam one. there is one that covers from mid back to neck making almost a V shape.

I think its needed period. You may say you dont need it cuz maybe the fall wasnt that bad... but do u know how and when you're gonna go down?? not unless you can foresee shit.. lol. So with that said the back protector is a must, even if its the one included in the jackets. Anything to protect your spine :icon_thumright:
