from the cmra board:

Steve Breen, Walter Walker and I went to NPR Friday to meet with Winston the track manager. After spending 4 hours looking at every aspect of the track, new extended pits, new hot pits and the wall in turn 1 moved back 250 feet we took 1 of 2 race dates available. Feb 10th 11th and 12th 06. It will be our first race of 06 with a 2 hour mini endurance and a 4 hour big bike endurance on Saturday and sprint races an Sunday the new hot pit is away from the regular pit area. It is about as long as TWS hot pit. you can take all your equipment down pickups vans and trailers and keep it in the area. No one will have to cross the hot pit we will be on one side. The track is 40 feet wide and the front straightaway is 60 feet wide. There are hot showers inside restrooms hookups for RVs electric.water and sewer. We made it a 3 day so all CMRA members can get a full day of practice. The track has spent a lot of money makeing the track emprovements. entering the drag strip is much like entering the front straightaway at TWS except it is smooth not the big dip. There are track days there about once a month on Mondays. We'll get the info and post it asap. I like many of you heard horror stories about NPR so we went and looked for ourself so please you do the same. Norm

I'veb een to this track before and it's awesome i can tell you guys that. You guys would have a bunch of fun there. It's in louisiana. thing is this track will take a texas world speedway race date off the calendar. Eventually tws won't be raced no more at all. I can't stand texas wrold speed way personally.

If I remember correctly it is extremely flat. No banking or hills
