Ok guys I talked to the hospital and they said she is gonna be in a long recovery, but will be pulling through. I would like for everyone to give some gentle wishes throughout this thread so I can print it out and put it in a card. I am going to try to head out there tomorrow to drop by some Silk flowers and a card with a printout of this thread.

If i could get a MOTOHOUSTON sticker and T-shirt which i do not mind purchasing within the next 24hrs I would also like to drop it off to her so when she recovers she will know that she was in our prayers, and that we are here to support her and her family.

I am so happy about this because when I saw her yesterday she was not moving or breathing, but had a pulse. Before we were gonna do CPR she started to breath on her own. It was a relief but was so heart breaking to see such a young beautiful girl lifeless.

Lydia is here from Norway with her sponsers for a Cristian Group. She was suppose to be leaving this morning, but looks like she will be here in our state for a little bit longer. I know this experience will traumatise her for life, but I want her to be able to relieve herself with as much pain as possible. The best way would be for us to show her much love that she deserves.

Thanks guys
Rehman

Hey chris give me a call and I will meet you up for the shirt. Also I have opened the paypal account for her for anyone who wants to donate money

please paypal the funds to hagen.lydia@gmail.com

I have left it unverified and will be handing the accounts over to her family to add a bank account so they can automatically transfer it how they please.

If a mod can post this in the first thread it would be appreciated. If you can also post my first post in that thread so everyone can know all info when they look in here that would be great.

Done.

If this happened in her country, she probably didn't have to worry about massive amount of medical bills.
I don't know the insurance situation, but I assume she doesn't have one.
I also don't know what her coverage would be like by Roger's.
She might be in a situation she really needs everybody's help financially.
Not even just for the money, at least we can show her there are a lot of people (motorcyclists) who care and think about her.
This might help her to get over the whole thing.

If you send money via paypal, you can also send her a message.

I gave up pretty clothes for next month.

Hi you.

Yes, I have some information for you. So you're a friend of Jordan. I feel for you, he was with us here in Norway, he was a great guy! It's sad how he passed away, luckely we know he's in heaven right now. And that's a better place to be than here on earth any time a day.
When it comes to Lydia, it's all a miracle. There's been so many people praying for her and she's making progress. Though I wouldn't say yet that she'll make a full recovvery. We hope so, but her condition is still critical. I guess we'll know how it goes sometime later. But the chances of her dying is not big anymore, though they're still there. We'll be comming over tomorrow. Hopefully we'll know mroe in the time to come You may post whatever you want of this letter.

Yo Moto crew........ thats beautiful how you all have gone beyond the limits and outta your wayz to find information on Lydia Hagen & Jordan Kenegy...that just goes to show that even in tragic times we all unite and try to help each other out. Great ideas on the Pay Pal fund, and supportin the family with flowers. It could have been left with words that would have been taken with the wind, but in this occasion, actions have made a statement, and we will alwayz look back to this day. On my part it made more of an impact once i saw the faces of the other victim's... sadness with the loss of such a precious life yet so young, and yes we would all agree that all three had the best intentions in life..may you rest in peace but you will not be forgotten....Much love to all and A+A+ to all that helped contribute...You will be greatly rewarded.......

my thoughts exactly. they shouldnt have to worry about medical bills if he had m/ins.

i remember when i went down last year.. just a few minutes alone and injured made me feel terrible

i can imagine what she feels. lets all be there with her and suport her any way we can

donation sent from the heart, hope she pulls through

and on a side note

moments like this make us realize how fragil life is

in the months i have had been a member i havent had the chance to meet all of you

and the way i see we all get along and suport each other, either way we havent met yet

that make me feel like i really belong in a family

from now on lets all try to meet each other more often

we all are in the same boat. no matter who we are and how we think

we all belong to motohouston. lets make this family a real family

peace to all and be safe pester

that is the fund just for her. In the one for roger and her for flowers, If we keep going how we are we have enough right now to do 2 very large spray arrangements for Roger and then enough to get her a nice arrangement of flowers or 2. Would like to be able to keep fresh flowers for her in the room just so she knows she has a group of people thinking about her once she is out of ICU.

when i talked to the hopsital yesterday they said that the only flowers we can send are silk flowers since she will be in ICU for a while. But i will be visiting her every week or 2 just to see her progress, and as they transfer her over we can make the arrangement for better flowers

From my past experience,
Assuming Roger had the minimal limits for the state of TX, She will only get about $25,000 to go towards her medical bills. The rest will hang on her head. The lifeflight cost about $8500-$9000 alone and the cost of a bed in ICU is about $8500 a day. So depending on how long she stays in there, it will really cost her. Not to mention any surgeries, xrays, CT scans etc that have to be done. All in all, she is looking at about $.3 to .5 million for this accident. The cash that is collected more than likely will not scratch the surface. However, there may be some humanitarian funds available to her due to her not being a US citizen.

Ok guys here is the update on Lydia. She has just went into surgery which will be a 12 hour long procedure. I spoke to the leader of her church group with great sympathy for her and jordan. Her family is pretty well off, and really are not worried about the money momentarily. They just want her daughter the way they left her.

Her mom, dad, and sister have came into town today. They were taken straight to the hospital where she is to see her before surgery begins. He also told me that they would love the support and prayers that we are giving and that stickers, t-shirts, balloons, flowers are very kind of us. I emphasized on the whole Motohouston community, and he was overwhelmed with the responses from all you guys. He asked me to tell everyone who has shown support "Thank you, and god bless all of you."

Jordan's body will be flown back to Portland, Oregan where his family resides and his funeral will be Friday. I will get the address from him and have flowers sent to them on our behalf. Everyone is devastated, but has said that we all need to pull together for Roger, and Jordans soul.

Jordan, and Lydia's church leader will be trying to make it to Roger's funeral on thursday. He wants to pay respects to his family for all of our losses. He also said that there is no need to point fingers in this situation because it was a simple "accident". It was a relief to think that they have no hatred towards our sport that we all do with some type of passion.

"we all need to get together and head out there for rogers sake."

In regards to Lydia, it would probably be best to wait until she makes it out of ICU before anyone goes up there as a group. However once she does, and is in her own room... it might, be interesting for a group ride out there and do something from the parking lot that she could see from her window if possible.

Jordan... it might be a nice gesture for those that can to go to the viewing in Rosenberg.

I spoke to Darren just now to check the status of Lydia. Her parents went to the hospital, and she has opened her eyes, and is speaking small words here and there. She was yelling for her mom last night, and the doctors got her mom right over. Her mom had a conversation with her for a few mins. I am glad that god has helped us in this situtation. It makes me happy to see that things are coming into place. She will be going back in for surgery on Thursday so we wont be able to pay visits till sometime next week.

I also called paypal to see if they would waive the fee's on the paypal account we have opened for her. I am waiting to hear back on that.

Keep praying guys! its working!!
