OK. I meant is it a manual tire mounter, air operated or electric powered. What brand and model. also, is the balancer a manual static balancer, or is it one of the "fancy" ones.

actually id first see if I could get it shipped directly to you instead of here first you know. and you jsut pay through paypal. that's the way i'd rather it be done. Let me ask my supplier first.

ok how much for some stainless front brake lines for 03 gix 750? also what brand? how long will it take to get here?

arturo3rd
05-21-2005, 04:09 PM
for stainless goodridge lines that you quoted me $69.99 is everything inlcuded (shipping and taxes)

i rather post this than PM so you can answer anybody elses similar question

paniro187
05-21-2005, 04:24 PM
taxes would be what you would reguraly pay elsewhere. so 69.99 plus tax. They have some stainless lines on the higher iend that are thinner (thus a bit mor eeffective) but they are a tad more.

Din
05-21-2005, 04:47 PM
so 69.99 + tax+shipping? give me a total price so i can see if i want to get a set.

paniro187
05-21-2005, 05:20 PM
no shipping i get the shipping don't worry about that. jsut taxes. I bleieve it's 7.25% of the price or something like that. so htat comes out to like 75 bucks.
mind, that doens't include the rear line.

arturo3rd
05-21-2005, 05:53 PM
so if i order the set for the 636 front i get all the lines? and pay $75 aprox?

paniro187
05-21-2005, 06:18 PM
you get only the front the rear are 39.99 for that bike. plus tax of course.

paniro187
05-21-2005, 06:20 PM
fyi though the carbon fiber lines look way better tho' and with that silver paint on your bike :notworthy:

im contemplating on the stainless or carbon. the look is second in my opinion but a strong second :keke:

is the line reinforced in carbon or have the look over the line? my brakes are bad ass already but ive been using them alot more and wanted that more reassurance that they wont burst or expand in this hot ass heat!!

these are the specs

- NOMINAL INSIDE DIAM. 1/8"
- MIN./MAX OUTSIDE DIAM. mm. 6/6,5
- MIN. BURSTING PRESSURE 1200 bar
- TEST PRESSURE 600 bar
- WORKING PRESSURE 150 bar
- MIN. RADIUS OF CURVATURE mm. 35
- WORKING TEMPERATURE - 40° C + 204° C
( MAX 240°C )

from my understanding thise are completely carbon fiber with a sheeth over them i' guess is some sort of plastic. Kind of like stianless lines have sheeth over the stainless steel.

- Black aluminium alloy fitting
- Stainless steel bushing to AISI 303
- 1st. CARBOFIBRE braiding
- 2nd. CARBOFIBRE braiding
- PTFE core

Tax is 8.25%. The dealer has to charge you this because he will have to pay this to the state.
