Years ago there used to be a women-only track day held on Mother's Day. I'm not sure why it ever ended (and why it had to end right after I got a bike) but I think Taeyoung was looking into whether we could get it going again.

It wouldn't be a noobie day, but the track is big enough for all of us to stay out of each others' way.

congrats!!! But heads up, wear the leathers around so they can stretch to your body, and THEN wear them around with the back prtoector, b/c I waited last min to wear mine with the back protector and it hurt, so after the round robin session I took it off!!!

Under leathers (and also under my touring suit in hot weather) I wear the cheap version of UA made by Danskin and sold at WalMart. Get them snug but not so tight that you can't move in them, and skip anything with a drawstring in the waist or a thick hemmed edge, as these will only cut into you if it's fitted right.

I personally go for either a full leg that can tuck into my socks or boy shorts. I don't want the fabric moving around or bunching up, especially behind the knees. Make sure they're breathable, and skip the undies.

As far as getting running shorts, I liked them b/c the breathe and they dont move aroun in your leathers!!!
