It's exciting having new stuff. I need to break them in though. The gloves are a bit stiff and so is the jacket.

don't forget pants and boots, unless you already have them. Good on you for taking the time and investing in proper equipment. A guy in my neighborhood just went down last night makeing the turn down his street. Wasn't going fast, but the road was wet enough that he slid accross the street up onto the curb. I was right behind him in my car and helped him up. Good thing my wife wasn't with me or she'd levy the wife veto right there and then.
Scratched the crap out of his K1200, but started right up ... heavy assed bike that's for sure.

ay that sucks for that guy. good man for helping him :icon_thum
I'm not sure when I'm going to get pants and boots. Right now I'm mainly using it to go places like work and stuff. So I can't go to work with big boots and pants on. :eh:
Awesome jacket. Enjoy.

I had a wreck about a month ago wearing good gear including Icon short gloves similar to those in the pic.
I was very lucky that I had them on cuz they were torn up pretty good.
I caution you all about short gloves, if I hadn't been wearing a jacket that had thick cuffs my wrists would have been trashed. You really should consider gloves with full cuffs. I know they are bulkier but in a slide the thinner mesh type jacket arms can slip up your arm a little and you wrists are exposed.
Just wanted to share that for what its worth.
Good on ya for gettin quality gear that jacket should serve you well. And the gloves are a lot better than bare hands.

Nice. I recently got my new leather A* "Stage" jacket as well, and I'm loving it. I wanted the same gloves you got but couldn't find anyone with my size when I was looking, so I got some Joe Rocket's instead. Looking for some good/affordable overpants now since I have to work in slacks.

I feel ya. A little bit of my wrists show when I ride. It sucks. I planned on getting tha SP2s but they don't go under/over my jacket well at all. And they were a lot more than these.
nice jacket, ive got the same one. If your looking for great boots and your on a budget, check out the Setup boots.

It was getting pretty hot today with the jacket on. Summer's going to be a pain.

I was actually on my way with my Dad to go up to Stubbs and I just randomly saw a Cycle Gear. I wasn't prepared!
