idle question

Hello guys, I just bought a 05 ninja 250 as my starter bike, but I noticed the idleing is kinda weird. Supposely the owner I bought it from havent start the bike for awhile. I tried to adjust the little knob underneath, but I cant seem to get to the right point. Can anyone give me some advice ?

Your carbs may need to be cleaned, or you could just have some old fuel.
Bring it by and I'll listen to it, no charge.
