next week im going to be getting hids w/projectors and 1 other thing.

Either rearsets, a rear cowl, VStacks or Bike Stands.

Which do u think i should go with.

I already have an M4. but i think i am going to go more with the looks first. i mean the bike already looks bloody sweeeeet, but get a cowl, hids and stands. Run the bike with a pcIII for a little bit and then slowly add more power if i feel like it. I dont want to compromise the high end thats why i dont really want sprockets, but the Vstacks will give it some nice midrange without dropping the torque.

Stephen... nothing specific in mind. Isn't this what enthusiasts do? even if they dont, I'm just having some fun.

i hope you dont expect alot of power as a result of the money you're about to put into that bike , b/c it wont make that much more power.. sure your puttin alot of add ons to it, but your not gonna squeeze 140 hp out of it from add ons.....

gotta get inside the engine to make the real power...

but your doing alot of nice stuff to it,,, it should run and look pretty good once your finished...

Not knocking you for it it all. Just curious what direction you were going with it. I would like to do a LITTLE to my bike but I'm just not into dropping alot of money into something like I used to when I was younger and had my cars. Props to you though. :biggthumpup:

Thanks for the props. Yeah, i sold my car for a suv. so now i have to pay for gas and stuff, but i have alot of unspent, saved money from that mods i never did on my z and then the VR6. but since i dont have either of them anymore, im just having fun with what i have, lol.

Its fun working on these yourself, so much easier then changing the cams in the VR6.

fyi on what andy told me. Any TRUE tuner doesn't use power commander anything. jet kit power commander or their dynos.

Actually, power commanders are good tools for tuning a bike. A lot of people have different comments on the type of dyno to tune a bike on, DynoJet Inertia vs Eddy Current Dynos. with Suzukis, you don't have to have a power commander, because the ECU can be programmed using a Yosh Box.

The 600rr is tuned for EPA settings. With the M4 it runs even more rich. PCIII's fixes this problem, making the bike run more efficiently and increasing gas mileage in many cases, atleast for 600rr owners. If you want to see the actual difference go to poewrcommander.com and download the PC software. then u can download the different maps and compare with the stock ecu setup. That will give you a better idea.

What did Andy recommend, the Yosh Cube? You can get kit ECU's for some bikes, but they are hella expensive. They do offer the greatest range of adjustibility though.

I have the PCIIIr and its soo easy to load the maps. You test different settings and you can actually notice a diff on the track. On the street I didnt notice crap but on the track u can actually feel if the map hesistates it or makes it lose low end or high end. When u have a good setting it feels smooth. NOTE: THE POWER COMMANDER DOES NOT GIVE YOU POWER!!! :eek3:
it's merely a microprocessor that acts as an interface between the ECU and your laptop or PC so u can modify it. I say that because some people seem to think that you're gonna get more ponnies out of putting on a power commander RONG! ;). You're simply reorganizing your power curves. :tongue5:

thanks capafool, just installed the PCIII and the scotts today. feels great. my bike was running a bit lean, i think it may be running a bit rich right now. trying to figure everything out. im going to get it dyno'd and hopefully the guy there will tune it for greatest efficiency.

You cant feel shit at low RPMs right now, i can feel a slight, yet distinct difference at full throttle.

if i were you instead of all that I'd look at getting the suspension sorted out. race tech front forks and either race tech the rear shock or bin it for a penske or ohlins (both of which i sell *hint* *hint*) :icon_thumright:

actually andy would have to race tech your forks. he's the man to do it. He did mine and i'm happy. Now the rear shock on the other hand if you want penske or ohlins i can get those and pm you a price. BUT if you want the rear shock race teched I'd have to say andy again.
