Anyone have expierance with icon or joerocket denim riding pants? They look like a good pair of pants that you can wear anywhere, but I want to know how crash resistant they are.

hopefully noone here can tell you how crash resistant they are...

but i would assume that they are a good quality,, being that they are made by those two manufacturers.

icon has really blown up the sportbike scene with their products.

Thats what I would assume. They are about same price as a cheap pair of textiles.

textile should hold up better still i think?

other than that, i was diggin the new icon anthem or standard jean.

I used to be against the idea of wearing icon, but recently, they have been making some things that have cought my eyes, I just purchased a pair of "hooligan" gloves. Their stuff is made well also.

i like the icon stuff, but just not enough to buy and wear it,, nothing against them, but i have two 2 pc, suits and a 1 pc suit already, so there is no need for more riding gear,, next for me is another helmet,,, i'll prolly get a scorpion, but i like the icon helmet with the little sexxxxxy shoot em up girl on the sides,,,
or the sexxxxy asian girl,, have you guys seen those..

For general cruizing denim jeans will probably hold up just fine and the rider style denim jeans are probably even better but.... it all depends on the crash and things of that nature. I went down with a set of Earth cords on and they held up great but I was under 40mph and lowsided so.....

Mud is your enemy!

IMO, Icon is junk all about the look, little about protection. some JR stuff is OK, some not.

if i were to buy riding specific jeans, it would be draggin jeans

Those do seem pretty good with the kevlar.... do you know if they are kevlar stitched as well?

The Draggins do look like some tough stuff, but I just like the textile breathers on the icons. Breezes rule, especially on your crotch!

The picture of the pants with the chapped ass made me laugh for some reason. :keke:
