Notice the other day that the temp on the 600RR goes up to around 200-210 Farenheit when I'm just rolling on the streets. It goes down to around 178 F when I hit the freeway. Is it normal for it to be around 200 F when on the streets (mainly at a light or stop sign)? If I recall the manual stated at around 248 F the fan kicks in. My coolant is fine.

Also too, is it easy to changed out the turn signal lights to the flush mount type?

I know its not the same bike, but my R6 runs close to 200 in stop and go traffic. My fan comes on at about 215. Once moving it stays in the 170-180 range.

On my K7 750 the fan comes on around 220-225 and it's always around 200-225 in stop and go city traffic, but as soon as things get moving it cools right down to the +/- 180 range.

Dude your bike is runnning fine, those are normal temps, but your fan should kick in around 218 not 245

my azz was getting hot the other day & was checking the fluids & stuff. i thought about it & looked at the temp. my potna said the same thing, then his shit starting smoking like hell. so i figured he didn't know what the hell he was talking about.

My '06 GSX-R 750 runs same temps as Issanni's. Different bikes will run in slightly different ranges, but from what your saying about yours it sounds alright to me.

THE r1 SITTS AT ABOUT 225 IN TRAFFIC AND 180 ON THE FREEWAY ITS NORMAL MY FAN DOESN'T COME ON TILL 220

my yzf600r averages on the side streets 180-200 (idled at 3500)

my f4i sits around 200-230 in the parking lot (idled at 4000 and the fan hotwired to stay on)
