I bought this bike, literally stored in a barn, found it via yacking with an older feller at the dps office while we were waiting.
I gave 1k for it.
Can you identify it? Its still in the barn and Ill pick it up tomorrow, until then I can only guess as to engine size etc.
mebbe an Ambassador 1000?

Look at www.bikepics.com and look for something similar. Looks like an early 70's model with an aftermarket fairing.

Or, run the plate (any cops on the board?) and see what it comes up registered as.

Looks like a V7. Definitely a nice find.

Looks like the police model had a similar fairing, so maybe it is stock. Do an ebay search, you'll surely find something about it.

its a 1969, possibly v7 ? 700cc early than the 750 cc, they switched to 750 in middle of 69, so until I go and pick it up today and actually look at the motor numbers, i can only guess, either model is a superior find indeed and well worth much more than what I gave for it. wooot for me today.

get ready, it may be coming your way.
on another note, did that dude ever get by there to look at that 98 seca 750? and did he yank it or do I need to come get it?
I'm selling the owner this 80's 750 I have over here for 1500. + his seca750, that way, I will have a good 750 5 speed for a go cart project:nod:

take it to British USA motorcycles on college and they could tell you what you have exactly. They might even be able to work on it.

I think I saw that bike on Craigslist. The listing said something like "it ran when the guy drove it into the barn" . . . 30 years ago. :laughing6

That bike will be pimp once you fix it up.
