Do any of you use a Scorpion EXO helmet and how do you like it? I think I may like those Scorpions instead of my Suomy

Many reviews have been done on this helmet brand. Good bang for the buck helmet, nothing wrong with it. Easy to change shields, not the lightest around but still not bad. Good ventilation with no fogging.

Very good value for the money. I have 3 scorpions. I love them. :icon_thum

My wife and I have the EXO-400. My only gripe is the faceshield seal around the top of the helmet, and the noise level. The fit was better than the others at the dealership as well.

My wife loves hers.

I just got mine fedexed today (EXO-700). I love it so far. Almost too much ventilation, its gonna be great for the summer. It actually fits my banana watermelon shaped head. The price is great too

Yeah I've had two exo-400's. Great helmets. I have a Shoei X-11 now, wish it was as fog proof as the scorpions.

Good bang for your buck but still nothing like an Arai (have both)

I just bought the auto tint sheild form my Scorpion (forgot the proper name for it) and love both the helmet and the new sheild. Maybe not as good as the Arai or shoei but the Scorpion fits my skull better and keeps a few pennies in the sky rocket! Great vents for summer time too!

Seems to be a good helmet for the price. Not something I want to wear while at the track but otherwise seems to be alright.

Why not at the track?

Why not at the track?

If you wreck at any amount of speed I'd assume the track would be the place to really crash test the lid

mine has been crash tested on the streets and im still SANE :eek3: :happy3:

Personal Preference

1. The helmet is a little heavey.
2. My EXO400 makes a high pitched noise that gets louder and louder with speed even with my ear plugs in.
3. No visor lock system.
4. Piece of mind that I am not there product crash dummy. (Meaning I would rather use a proven race product. Although, I will be doing some testing for them in TMGP.)

Is this a personal or professional opinion?

I like mine... the wick free lining that is washable, the large amounts of ventilation, the fog free shield, easily changeable shield... were all good selling points for me... it is true the bottom shield seal is kinda sucky...

plus, I heard that the company was started by ex-Arai engineers... more bang for the buck in my book... I have been pleased....
