Just to give people some insight. I have been wanting to some way listen to music when I am on long rides..... Well I tried to whole wearing ear buds and that just didnt work good for me. So I got these! They are awesome they mount in the helmet with double sided tape. Even when I am going down the freeway with the visor up on my helmet I can still hear the music. I think the best thing is I can listen to my music but I am still able to hear the noices around me that I need to hear. If anyone is interested in speakers for your helmet these are the way to go!!!!

not sure about you but when I was listening to my music I was going a little faster than I intended.......but these look way more comfortable than headphones inside the hemlet

just my 2 cents.

my friends are always bitching about listening to music while riding. i have a friend with an i pod nano, and i have a friend who just likes a little sports radio.

I was flipping through a magazine i recieved in the mail and on the back cover, a pair of oakley sunglasses with earbuds built in to them!

i showed them to my friend and he bought them because he too hates earbuds.

those oakley sunglasses he says are bad ass! yall should look into them.

UMMM..GUYS...

its not like there is anything that special about speakers that go into a helmet. you can buy any $5 headphones from wal-mart, carefully remove the speakers. some helmets allready have pockets for them, if not, double-sided tape is cheap too, or afro-engineer something...

...maybe i should just make some and sell em to yall for $34.99 a set... lol...

and no one would buy them.... if we were interested in these....it's because we obviously don't have any interest in bootlegging some speakers. Don't ya think if that's what we wanted, we'd do that?

these arent any more expensive than a decent set of headphones....these just fit in a helmet better

If you have a helmet with cheek pads you can do the same thing! I paid 10 bucks for some earphones a Target and taped them inside my cheek pads and put the cover back on! Very simple and cheap!

you know what i would like, is a way to talk on the cell while still riding. i always have to pull over and take off my helmet just to answer or should i say to see my missed calls.

you and chris don't have bad ideas... I'm just saying, these are speakers which are slightly different than headphones. Headphones are meant to keep the sound in a concentrated area (i.e., your ear) speakers are designed to emit sound a little better. That's all I'm saying...the speakers vs headphones are like regular seats vs heated seats....they can both get the job done...one is just a little nicer.

That's just an accident waiting to happen...some people have a hard enough time trying to drive cars and talk on cell phones.

lol..... you just said ***** rigged...

:laughing6

Buy some cheap headphones from Walmart that have a inline volume adjuster. Attach the volume adjuster to the side of your helmet and run the speaker behing the padding in the helmet... Voila.. ur finished and you can also adjust the music on the fly. :icon_thum

its not the talking that gets people....its looking at the damn phone!!! People talk to passengers in a car just fine....but throw a phone in the mix and they just have to look at it!

I tried the whole rigging it thing. It worked but when you get on the freeway and are a 8,000 RPMS you just might as well forget hearing anything. But with these there is no problem. I have them ran so they stay in the helmet even if I am not listening to music. All I have to do is hook up the cord from the mp3 player to the helmet and I have the volume controller that came with the speakers hanging out of my jacket so I can adjust the volume if I need to on the Fly. These things are 10 times better than any riggin that anybody can do. And hell for $30.00 YOu cant beat it. But hey if you cant afford 30 dollars go ahead and rig you something!!!!
