I thought it was a good deal, what do you guys think? Is it tough enough for a track or will the leather tear?

You can use it, not sure the quality of that brand, maybe the track junkies or racers know about that one. Maybe drop some more bucks and get a better suit, ask patrick, he has good comments and prices

Did you notice it does not include velcro for knee pucks. No dragging knee in that suit.

yeah i noticed that, which is why i had reservations about it. BTW i have a shift leather jacket and i gotta tell ya its much better then an a* jacket i had in the past, so i dont have any doubts about the quality of they're leathers. I was more interested about the armour inside the suite and the knee pucks.

if you feel confident with them...by all means, buy it. but if it doesn't have velcro for knee pucks...you want to drag knee...literally? i think i'd rather drag puck.

also make sure the suit zips together somehow (track requirement) if it's a 2 piece.

For riding on the track I would recommend investing in something with a place for knee sliders. Eventually you're going to wish you had them.:nod: I don't know of Shift's quality, but I do know that Fieldsheer suits are good suits for the money you spend (I own one). Also Teknic supposedly is good from what I've heard, and of course Komodo is awesome, if you want to pay for it.

If you call Patrick at his shop and let him know you're coming he can let you try on some suits I'm sure.

they are all made in china, vietnam, india.
anyways it says supermoto suit, so its not cut as aggressive for tucking and what not. that is also a factor if you want to use it for track.
