so I was bored today drinking coffee at starbux, i thought, hey lets call stubbs and get an idea of how much retail cost would be on some of the parts for my bike....I asked for front and rear Alstare cowls, Alstare fairings for both sides, front Alstare fender, and both forks for the front...the grand total was around $4600....and the dude was like, "you should get all these factory parts and fix your bike up because it's a limited edition, and they only GO UP in value, because your VIN number will also say it's a limited edition"..i was thinking, 0you fucking dumb motherfucker....and then I said "well, going up in price, but not one that's been crashed", to which he replied "you can fix it up like brand new and never have to tell them it's been wrecked" ....
I was afraid to ask how much it would be for everything else, headlights assembly, my speedometer, intake thinggy...and a buncha other stuff....I bet if I told him everything, the total woulda been like 8000 bux....and I'm sure he'll still tell me that it's worth it...hahaha.....

i'm telling you now you need to see if the frame is stright (not just by the naked eye) all you need is to get everything and the bodywork doens't line up or you put all togther go rocketing down the street and wreck cause the frame is off. get the frame checked out cause it looked like you wrecked hard. Don't listen to people telling you they can fix it for under this amount and stuff. what the use of getting what you can see fixed if what you can't see will kill you.

my 2 cents.

LE or no thats kinda high....... get the frame checked out and watch ebay weekly, gonna take some time and some $$$....... maybe pick up some used blue and white gixxer plastics and Tank and look for the Allstare stuff in the meantime putting it all back original later. Like he said the VIN# will indicate its LE status and in the meantime you can ride while looking out for Allstare stuff.

just buy some race plastics and put it on the track until you learn to ride it really well, being on the track will settle you way down on the street,,,

to me its worth waitin for the next trackday to ride, even if its a month away from the time i rode last...

i agree with pan.,, thats very important, may be expensive, but well worth it to check.. that bike is worthless if the frame is bent and you waisted all your money on fixin it back up
my 2 cents.
