i havent seen it done but have heard about it working... and i havent seen it posted.. well it works and here are pics...... 05 r6 with 06 r6 forks....

Looks good!

When you installed the forks in the triples did you try to keep the same geometry as the original forks?

The only thing you'll have to do is change the suspension settings for your application a little.

The '06 R6 comes with very stiff compression valving, both high and low speed, so it can make for a very harsh ride.

well i measured the best i could to match the geometry i measured from the bottom of the fork to the bottom of the lower triple and it was 19 and a quarter inches or somthing really close so i just matched that up with the new ones.. and they are with in 2mm of the same spec. because the 06 forks were like 2mm shorter....

i wanted the 4way adjustable cuz for x-mas i plan on getting the ohlins 4way. and i know they are a lil bit better then the suspension on the 05 and more adjustable. they were like 4bills

patrick does that sound about right on the way i measured??? just want to make sure i didnt do something really stupid. it makes sense to me because the lower triple is a constant place and doesnt move.. so from the bottem of the fork to the lower of the triple it should be the same ride height..? right?

I usually use the axle to lower triple as a reference FWIW.
