This is only my second TD. I have the camera mounted on the left side of my helmet. It seems to catch less wind than when mounted on top. Which helps to make the vid. much more stable. Some of the other Lvl 1 riders might get a glimpse of themselves before I passed them, but the track was really very open. Not many riders made the last 2 sessions. :thumb:

Not really. I seem to have a (bad) habit of hitting the rear brakes coming into Sugar and Spice. It seems to be a good place to practice backing it in.:D Cause the ambulance is real close!!

As a street rider I almost never use the front brake. I always get off the gas early Usually I sit up and take my hands off the bars. Then relax and let the engine do most of the braking. Then use the rear at the last moment. I am trying to break myself of this on the track. I am catching myself quicker and quicker when using the rear. When I do I immediately get the ball of my foot back on the peg where it should be.

Some one should have told me that on my first track day. I kind of thought after I'd did it about the third time they might bring me in and ask what's up, but I never saw a black flag.

Next time out I'm going to go in level 2. I'm tired of not getting passed and having to follow people into the right handed curve at the end of the back straight at 65MPH. Since I passed the apex of it on my first TD at 97 once. I also need to follow someone who is better in the braking zones so I can get a better feel for how deep to run in. :eek3:
