The helmet I got has somehow gotten the chinstrap melted. I had it on the bike outside for 2 days and its melted....... really that hot? anyways can it be replaced? the strap.

The strap itself is not replaceable. The covers are. Is it the strap itself? or the other part?

I have lost two helmets due to leaving them out side in the car.

The strap is melted. almost in half on one part.. and the button that secures it on the very tip is melted completely. Looks almost like someone got it with a lighter. And that didnt happen. :(

Jack do you know if there is a warranty from teh manufacturer on this type of thing. This helmet is still basically new. Tis the one I just got from you when I got my bike back.. Maybe 20 rides with it.
