Street boots?

I want to buy a pair of street boots. I don't want to wear race boots with my jeans. I've been thinking about the Icon motorhead and Super Duty boots or maybe the Joe Rocket Big Bang. Any suggestions?

I have a pair of the super duty boots from Icon. Like em a lot. Comfortable, sturdy and look nice too... Got mine from Cycle Gear.

I have 3 pair of the icon super duty and 2 pair of the motorhead! I wear the super duty on a daily basis to work! I sometimes where them all day while I am teaching. I like the motorhead as well, but I don't wear them as much as the super duty! So in short I highly recommend them both!

Hmm... the motorheads look like they might actually offer some protection... the others barely cover the ankle... I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing those if I *knew* I was going to take a spill at 85 or 90mph that day.

No one is supposed to speed, yada yada yada, but those are typical cruising speeds on the roads I use to commute... 610, 45, 288, etc.

I probably look like a dork but when I commute I pretty much always wear my track boots, even when I'm going to work:

The motorheads look nice though, I'm gonna see if there's any place around here that has those in my size. :icon_bigg

i have motorheads the take a while to break in but i love them now. the othe icons didnt have support over the ankle your right. since then two of my other friends bought them.
